SLAT Eligibility Criteria
Candidates need a Class 12 pass from a recognised board with minimum aggregate marks, with relaxation for reserved categories. Those who fail the criteria are disqualified even if shortlisted. Always read the current official brochure, since age and marks rules can change.
SLAT Exam Pattern
The test has 60 questions across five sections. These are Logical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning, Reading Comprehension and General Knowledge. Legal Reasoning uses principle-fact questions, where you apply a given legal rule to a short situation, so no prior law knowledge is needed. Confirm the duration and marking scheme in the brochure.
